Fusion21 has been working closely with its Housing Association Partners, Contractors and
Suppliers to develop and fit energy saving products in tenants homes over the past two years - products which are ensuring the Code for Sustainable Homes targets are met. These range from recyclable energy efficient doors and windows, to Sebuk A rated Vaillant Boilers, water efficient baths, taps and toilets, to gas saving devices.
We have recently been awarded monies from the Homes & Communities Agency to deliver a pilot programme on hard to reach cavity wall insulation and are currently working on some retrofit solutions to existing properties to increase their energy efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint. Hankinson
Hankinson is a Painting Group based in Birkenhead with offices in the North West and West Midlands. Established for 34 years, we employ 230 nationally and have developed into one of the UK’s largest independent Contractors.
We have a number of policies in place including a Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, Environmental Policy and Sustainability Policy. In 2008 we achieved the ISO14001 accreditation.
We were the first painting contractor in the UK to recycle all waste cans and waste materials produced annually and save them from landfill. This was recognised in the Liverpool Daily Post 2009 Regional Business Awards when we were awarded the Royal Mail Green Award.
We have ensured our own Supply Chain is committed to our environmental objectives by entering into Framework Agreements.
Being a Green Ambassador for Liverpool is a clear way of demonstrating our commitment to the local community, our clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
